AIMA and Solo Expediciones present

The First Dinner in
the Estrecho de Magallanes

For the first time in history,
a table will rise over the waters of the Strait.

November 21st, 2025

Aboard the Magallanes 500, the catamaran operated by Solo Expediciones, we will sail for four hours through the Estrecho de Magallanes, a route that begins at Rinconada Bulnes and continues between cliffs and islands until reaching Bahía Águila, facing the San Isidro Lighthouse, one of the southernmost points of the continent.

On the return journey, we will pass by the historic Fuerte Bulnes, specially illuminated for the occasion, evoking the first human presence in these southern lands.

Throughout the voyage, guests will be able to observe the rich wildlife of the Estrecho de Magallanes; with some luck, we may see humpback and sei whales, Commerson’s dolphins, and Peale’s dolphins.

As the landscape transforms with the sunset over the Strait, diners will enjoy an eight-course culinary experience created with Magellanic ingredients by Fabrizio Aciares, Resident Chef of  , accompanied by a carefully curated wine pairing.

Wine will play a central role in the journey — conceived to complement the movement, temperature, and intensity of the surrounding landscape.

An unparalleled experience, where cuisine, territory, and voyage become one.
